Johnny Appleseed Festival

Johnny Appleseed Festival in Lisbon, Ohio:  Tinsmiths, apple pressers, and blacksmiths galore, plus apples, apples, apples galore! There is old-fashioned apple butter, apple fritters, apple dumplings, apple ice cream, and apple-everything, from apple pie baking contests to more than 30 concessionaires, all set in the historic downtown of Lisbon, Ohio. Festivities kick off with a parade, followed by dancing, music, and theater. Arts and crafts feature yarn spinning, goat milk soap, and chain saw wood crafts. The fun continues with games, a dunk tank, and more. There’s even a 1950s auto and motorcycle show.
